I'm not going to post in detail about this because...I don't really want to. It sucks, I'm very depressed about it because I really liked my job. But they can't afford me anymore.

Terribly sorry to hear about the shifting back to unemployment status. I hope something comes your way quickly.
And funny - that bit about not having a baby in one's 20's. It happens to the best of us.

Although it'll probably go to someone in the company with the required 12months experience blahblah, but that does mean musical chairs all round, so another place should also appear soon.

am soon to be in the same boat my dear ... my employers can't afford me either - actually that is a lie , they can but they don't want to any more . having said that the feeling is pretty mutual in my case ;) things will come up . new horizons , one door closes another opens etc etc . yay for california time though ! coool :) x
